    I know that a release of FOCUS (the so-called "Controlled Release") is 
    now shipping on ALPHA OSF/1. 

    Can you someone first confirm that it works OK ?
    
    Secondly, a question arises from both customer and partner about
    interoperability of FOCUS/OSF1/AXP with our IBM SNA gateway
    products to allow access from IBM terminals to a OSF/1 AXP
    plateform running FOCUS.
    
    IBI France states that this can only work with SNA gateways from
    UNISYS with which they seem to have a good partnership.
    
    A first technical analysis shows there should be no
    technical problems with our gateways, using a combination of 
    domain gateway, MEPVT on VAX/VMS, telnet (via TCP / IP services) to AXP  
    OSF/1 host. 

    Difficulties could come from mapping keyboard if FOCUS uses special keys 
    in its VT version.
    
    Could anyone tell :
      - if there are references of FOCUS applications running in the
        technical environment described above ?
      - if there has been reports of technical problems in the
        past?
      - what is the status of our relationship with IBI ?
