How is it possible to write an RMS file using for numbers the VMS
datatype G_FLOATING; I know the 'D8' actual format which corresponds to
D_FLOATING on VMS. I have heard that this G_FLOATING formats exists is
supported since FOCUS V5.x but I do not find any info about it.
PS: do not refer do recent guide, I have only V1.0 manuals.
Best regards, Herve

The suggestions given in the first reply do not allow to generate a VMS G_FLOATING number; Dn will produce a VMS D_FLOATING which is not what required. I think that functions inside FOCUS for VMS must provide that functionality but I do not known wher to find them Philippe | |||||
