We have recently upgraded from v6.1.1 to v6.1.2. We have found a problem with the length of the logical names. The logical name that is assigned by our application is too long for FOCUS to handle. V6.1.1 had no problem with this. We know that an 8 character logical name is ok, but 14 character logical name gives us an error. We haven't tested every length in between. Was something changed deliberately? Any ideas for a solution? Thanks, Judi

Regarding the problem with FOCUS V6.1.2 and logicals; I had hoped V6.2 would resolve the problem, but it didn't. As it turns out V6.2 and possibly V6.1.2 doesn't understand lower case logicals. Kate Alexander who supports FOCUS actually solved the problem and she will notify IBI. Rich |
