We have a customer in Rochester, NY who is interested in using FOCUS on
Digital systems. They have selected Ingres as their database so they
can easily switch between VAX/VMS (which they are using for the pilot
evaluation on a VAXstation) and ULTRIX if they so choose for reasons of
price/performance.
What they are now asking for is help in sizing systems for various sizes
of user population. Do any of you have any experience with sizing FOCUS
applications? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
