	Jim, FOCUS has an optional product called HLI (Host Language Interface) that allows users to access FOCUS from progarams coded in COBOL, PL/1, FORTRAN, BAL, C and PASCAL. This option does not come with the basic FOCUS installation that we are under contract for and would have to be purchased separately. This option does not seem to be an alternative for internal use as we should be able to apply our own products to this situation (ex C programs using SQL to access RDB databases) KC
