Dear FOCUS Users,

FOCUS version 6.0 is ready for release. This release corrects a few problems
that exist in the previous release and includes the following new interfaces
and product enhancements:

	Long filename support up to the VMS limit, and fieldnames expanded
	to 66 characters.

	MODIFY now supports a Debugger facility and the ACCEPT feature
	for testing values in the Master File Description.

	FIDEL enhancements include dynamically changing T. to D. fields,
	default cursor positions, and CRTFORM NOREAD and TABRETURN.

	Talk Technology has a new member, PlotTalk. Also this release
	adds several TableTalk enhancements.

	The Window Painter product has been enhanced to include
	support for execution and help windows among other features.

	Simultaneous Usage Control Program (SUCP), multi-threaded SU
	Report facility and an increase in the number of FOCUS files
	available for use in SU (255) are new for Simultaneous Usage.

	New Dialogue Manager variables are also available.

	PC to VAX Import Facility.

	Define-based JOINs.

	SQL Parser.


To get the version 6.0 software, please send a mail message to PICA::FOCUS
and include the following:

	NAME
	BADGE
	COST CENTER
	DTN
	MAILSTOP
	NODE::USERNAME (FOR PROXY ACCESS TO THE SAVE_SETS)
	ALL NODES THAT FOCUS WILL BE INSTALLED ON (not just cluster names)

The FOCUS Version 6.0 installation guide and new features manual will
be automatically sent out with each request.
