289.0. "Can't find file sys$sysdevice:[sys%.sysexe][syscommon]fuselib.exe" by PERKY::OTTEN (Glasnote.....) Thu Dec 14 1989 05:44
Hi...
We've had a wierd problem, that I've never seen before, on an installation
of FOCUS..
The Installation went smoothly, FUSELIB was relinked to include some new objects,
and Focus was started up.
Upon trying to invoke FOCUS, ah error was produced
"Can't find file $1$dus0:[sys%.sysexe][syscommon]fuselib.exe"
(where % is the system number of the cluster member)
Even though IBI$FOCUS was correctly defined /system,
and FUSELIB was defined/system as IBI$FOCUS:FOCUS.EXE
Upon copying FUSELIB.EXE into $1$dus0:[sys%.sysexe][syscommon]
we got "Image file must be INSTALLED.
So, I Installed the file/open/header/shared, whereupon we got the
same thing happenning for FOCRDB.EXE, where focrdb was defined/system as
Ibi$focus:focrdb.exe
That was duly copied, and installed, and all now seems to be working.
The startup was the correct one, (ie the same on other systems that
seem to be working)
The procedures we went through were identical with procedures that worked on
other systems.. has anyone got any ideas???
