Hello, Mister Moderator. I just discovered yesterday there was *TWO* focus conferences. (this one and SHIRE::FOCUS) Why that ? Is one of them to be used rather than the other ? If yes, which one ? Shouldn't everybody be made aware of that ? JD_who_usually_likes_to_use_only_one_drawer_per_topic.

My understanding is that one is European based (SHIRE:: I think, is in
the UK). The other is based in the United States. I have both
attached to my notebook and tend to read and post in both to get the
info. around. The question of necessity for two confs, however, is
valid.

Currently the moderators are Mike TIGEMS::Brouillette and Bob OFFPLS::Ryan, despite what it says in the introductory note, or for that matter what SHOW MODERATORS says. They may be willing to comment on the need for 2 conferences. Both existed for some time before either was announced (the conferences, that is). That's really why there are two now. Bizarre, eh?
