180.0. "KEYS within KEYS?" by CHEFS::HASTONM (Words in place of wisdom) Wed Feb 08 1989 05:58
{ Cross-posted in SHIRE::FOCUS }
I have two questions, if they've been addressed before please point
me to the right place.
1) I wish to describe a complex key structure thus:
Key 0
|
-------------------------------
| Key 1 |
-------------------------------------------------
| Field 1 | Field 2 | Field 3 | Data............|
-------------------------------------------------
This works just fine as far as RMS is concerned, but I cannot find
a way for this to be described in FOCUS. Has anyone else?
2) {This may be related} What does the `INDEX=I' descriptor mean
when describing the group field(s)? This one isn't in the book.
All help much appreciated,
M
