    I am currently working on an account that insists on using PC/Focus
    rather than Focus and Rdb.  I have two questions concerning this
    environment:
    1.) Has anyone tried PC/Focus with VMS services for MS/DOS - either
    the old version and/or the new one?
    2.) IBI told my customer that they would have to connect their PC's
    via a 3174 rather than go through the SNA gateway to retrieve mainframe
    info. - is there anyone who knows why they would say that?  Does
    anyone know of an account where they use Focus (either VAX or PC)
    and go over a SNA gateway to get mainframe info.
