A little clarification please. I see from note 35.1 that FOCUS
can access both Rdb and RMS files with direct read/writes. I have
a sense from reading many other notes that there exists some kind
of FOCUS license on a VAX to allow FOCUS read/write access to
databases created and managed by Digital's DBMS product. My questions
is:
Can FOCUS's many tools and report generating faculties be applied
directly against any DBMS database or is it necessary to go through
an unload procedure to an intermediate form of storage?
