I am using FOCUS V. 5.2 with RDB. I am recieving the following message when I run a report. This same report is running successfully on a different machine which also uses V. 5.2. >>EX REP2 >>>>>>>>> JOININT CALLED TO READ DATA ERROR MESSAGE TEXT MISSING 118 Can anyone help?? Thanks, Liz.

i would rerun the program with message turned on (or no message turned off) and see where in the program it failed on. As for the error message (FOC118), it is: DEPENDENT VARIABLE DOES NOT EXIST: The dependent variable provided in response to the ANALYSE prompt is not specified in the MASTER description for the data. I know it may run on another machine, but the environment you are running against may be different (i.e. different version of FOCUS, diff version of RDB, different installation options, etc.) Mary H. |
