I would like to get information regarding the Area Information
Center (AIC). I got this information from the FOCUS News ( Vol.
10, No. 1) that Digital intalled an order processing system on
the FOCUS 4GL. I would greatly appreciate it if you would provide
me with more detailed information such as hardware configulation,
database design, the name of project manager and so on.
Also, I would like to locate a program manager of MANTIS. Because
one of our customers plan to convert MANTIS from IBM (System 38) to
VAX. Fortunately, he will visit the States in July and would like
to discuss their problems with the appropriate people in the Corporate.

We have an AIC supporting the FOCUS-MACH I order processing
system that was installed in the US. F-M I is not in IBI_FOCUS only
the AIC has that software. The AIC is to support all of the management
reports while the F-M I supplies operations with supporting
reports.
The AIC's are supported by US Area Finance (although I'm in
customer service/ order management). Contact Jim Lanoix at PKO,
or Jerry Tirrell at PKO for the business side. Contact Kristy
Doyle-Turner @PKO for IS side.
The AIC will be providing ledger data to certain sites starting
next quarter. We are not one of them.
