41.0. "<FF>'s in reports" by HYEND::STRUDEAU () Tue Mar 01 1988 11:18

    Hello. I was wondering if there was a way to create a disk file
    report which, when sent, would retain its formfeeds.

    When I create a report and VAXMail it, the FOCUS formfeeds are
    stripped away.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

    THANKS FOR THE ADVICE. I wasn't aware of the SHIRE notesfile.
    I looked at note 12. Does anyone know if IBI has plans to
    correct this 'problem'?

    Again, Maurizio, thanks for the information.

41.4Form feeds are in v5.2PLANIT::RYANThu Aug 04 1988 19:1012
    Version 5.2 fixes the problem by creating a new format called DOC.
    Try this:

    TABLE FILE XXX
      PRINT X Y Z
    ON TABLE HOLD AS RPT FORMAT DOC
    END

    Your report will be called RPT.DOC and have VAX form feeds instead
    of carriage control in column 1. This works in ALL-IN-1 as well.
