I am trying to define a packed field who has no sign but Focus do
not seem to like it, as he is waiting for the sign in the last digit.
(I tryied different values of Pn or In without succes)
My field is decribed as a WORD in basic language and read without
problem by basic programs .(This field is part of a LARS file
converted from a 16 bits RSTS system, using swap byte operation).
Thanks in advance to the focus user who can give me a solution...

Did you try an actual format of I2. I had a basic program load a
WORD field and load that into an RDB as a signed word, and in the
MFD I used I2. Maybe it might work- just a suggestion.
