7.0. "FOCUS USER'S MEETING IN AUGUST" by CSMADM::BILLS () Mon Jul 06 1987 16:19

Below is an invitation to the FOCUS user meeting in Sturbridge,
Mass. I attended this group's meeting last year and it was
    very informative in terms of:

    	1. How other companies are using Focus

    	2. How large databases are handled

    	3. Report writing tricks

    JUNE 15, 1987

DEAR FUN MEMBER:

Please plan to attend the next FUN User Group meeting to be held on
Friday, August 7, 1987 at:

	The Sheraton Sturbridge Conference Center
	Sturbridge, Mass.

We have planned an informative program that should appeal to all levels
of FOCUS Users. A proposed agenda, directions to the meeting site, and
a pre-registration form are enclosed. Those wishing to avoid early
travel should contact the Sheraton Hotel at (617) 347-7393 to reserve
accommodations.

Help us to make this meeting a success by attending and sharing your
FOCUS experiences with others. You don't have to be a FOCUS expert to
participate as a speaker or to contribute your organizational talents
by becoming a member on one of our many committees.

The $40.00 attendance fee covers the cost of lunch and refreshments, as
well as facilities and administrative expenses. Because of the additional
inconveniences involved, the fee for registration at the door will be
$50.00. I you plan to attend, but don't think that your registration
will reach us before August 1st, or if you have questions about the
meeting, please contact one of the conference officers listed below:

	President	-	Alan J. Atkins - (203) 649-0853
	Vice President	-	Ken Failing - (203) 277-4331
	Secretary	-	Dave Simko - (203) 277-9290
	Treasurer	-	Mike Riley - (203) 277-3933

To keep administrative tasks and expenses to a minimum, this meeting
announcement is being sent only to the identified primary contacts
for each installation. Please duplicate and distribute these
materials to other interested people in your organization. A list
of people who have previously attended meetings has been enclosed
for your convenience.

Thank you for your continued support of FOCUS Users of New England.
We are looking forward to seeing you on Friday, August 7, 1987,
at the Sheraton in Sturbridge.

				Sincerely,

				Alan J. Atkins
				Ken Failing
