  Subject: Presentation "Sizing, Positioning, and Optimizing Oracle 
           Applications on Digital's Alpha AXP Platforms"

  ASEPG is pleased to announce the on-line availability of a presentation which
  describes the performance of Oracle Applications on both OpenVMS for Alpha
  AXP and DEC OSF/1 for Alpha AXP.  This presentation was given by John 
  Finocchiaro at the recent Oracle Applications Users Group conference at
  the invitation of Oracle Corp.

  Highlights of this presentation include:

  o  System positioning of Oracle Financials on both OpenVMS AXP V1.5 and 
     DEC OSF/1 V1.3A.

  o  Evaluation of Oracle Financials in a parallel server environment on
     OpenVMS AXP.

  o  The performance characteristics of Oracle Financials in a client/server 
     environment on both OpenVMS AXP and DEC OSF/1.

  o  Disk and memory sizing for both OpenVMS AXP and DEC OSF/1.

  o  Operating system, database, and application tuning recommendations.
