I understand that all the sales reps in the US are going to be
reclassified based on current position, budget and experience. For
example a Sales Exec. could be changed to a Sales Rep 2.
Any body have any idea on what is happening and why and most important,
will it effect my compensation?

I haven't heard that rumor, but it shouldn't effect your compensation
unless they change your budget due to a new title.

My DM told me it's not a general reclassification, but they will take a look at the different sales positions and possibly redefine them. Also, they will look at people in transition jobe (eg, moved from sales to marketing, and intend to move back to sales in a year or two). Few people should actually get reclassified. Bob | |||||
