    In a note dated Feb. 4, 1992, Merrill Lynch upgraded their stock rating
    on Digital.  One of the reasons cited was particularly gratifying to
    me, and I wanted to share it.
    
    "However, in addition to the stock's compelling price, we sense
    something more important, that being that while business remains
    sluggish for the company, a majority of the salesmen we spoke with
    while doing our recent saleen survey believe that the strategic
    direction of the company is better defined than at any time over the
    past few years, and they are becomming more confident that
    significantly better days will be ahead."
