    In support of selling Services, Reference Exchange now has the
    capability to track customer reference accounts for all Digital
    Services.
    
    Reference Exchange provides the worldwide Field with easy access
    to an on-line source of high-quality, sales-approved reference
    accounts.  Implemented in Europe, GIA, and the U.S., the 
    database currently contains over 1,300 customer profiles that
    represent a wide range of Digital solutions.  This internal
    VTX-based infobase is accessed via the VTX network - keyword
    of 'references', through ACCESS - select Customer Reference
    Accounts and the Account Workbench.
    
    This latest enhancement to Reference Exchange resulted from a 
    recommendation made by the Services' Testimonial Task Force
    sponsored by Janet Shipman.  With cross-functional participation,
    the task force is addressing the critical need for sourcing and
    making available Services' references and testimonials.
    
    In the area of services, there are currently 206 references for 
    consulting services, 176 references for PSS, 28 references for
    systems integration, as well as references which represent an
    approximate total of 35 other service solutions.  And these
    numbers are growing.

    I am trying to find three U.S. reference accounts for an RFI we are
    responding to.  I need accounts were we have trained
    technicians, disgnostic equipment and spare parts inventory for
    10Base-T intelligent hubs made my Synoptics, Cabletron, Chipcom.
    
    I tried the Reference Exchange and couldn't find any.  Any help would
    be appreciated.

	Contact Kristy Bourk @OKO.  She's the account manager for a
	large healthcare institution where Digital is installing
	almost a million dollars of Chipcom Online Concentrator
	gear.  This is part of a $3+m network integration project.
