How will the customer get DECnet/OSI V5.8 ? The last version he got was
DEC FTSIE V2.0 bundled with DECnet/OSI V5.6.

There are no known restrictions for FTSIE to be used on VMS V6.1 and DECnet/OSI V5.8 assuming that you are using DEC FTSIE V2.0. > How will the customer get DECnet/OSI V5.8 ? He can most probably use his present version. However there is a bug that appears more frequently on VMS V6.1 systems do with string parsing. If this is the case then the customer will have to request the latest version via the (German) CSC. regards John | |||||
