Hello,

 I like to take the ability to have FTSIE interested people concentrated in this
notes conference to ask if your customer have a need for a port of FTSIE to
OpenVMS or OSF/1 on the Alpha platform.

As today it's difficult to get funding for new products or versions if it's not 
clear that there's the appropiate return on investment. The inquiries for Alpha
versions are too little for the moment to make a clear decision for a port. Last 
friday I asked the same question to our german salesforce. Maybe the response of 
both ways will be big enough to come to a decision.

Hence all those who feel connected in some way to FTSIE should answer to this 
questions either in this topic or send mail to

I like to have the answer until the end of next week. To get an estimation the 
answer should include the following :

1. Which platform [ OpenVMS / OSF/1 ] :
2. Customer name
   Precise naming to seperate accurately if the sales references the same 
   customer.
3. Reason 
4. How many licenses (on which systems) do you expect to be sold ?
