Hi!
One of our customers wants to migrate his Nixdorf systems (8869B,
8860/M160, 8860/M4 & NCN) to Unix.
A requirement is that he can continue using his Nixdorf terminals
(BA80, 9766M) and printers (ND11 with SAS interface) with the ULtrix
systems. At least during a migration phase.
He also wants to use his IHSS cabling.
I don't know what a 9766M terminal is. Is it character or block mode?
What is the interface? RS232, IBM like?
What is a SAS interface?
What type of cabling is IHSS? Koax, STP, UTP an IBM Type what-so-ever?
Could you please help me with the above questions/provide pointers?

He was involved in porting Nixdorf environment to UNIX and will do this
furtheron in special projects. At least he could give you some hints.
