Siemens BS2000 has seemingly fixed another OSI Transport problem that was often
observed when 9750 Terminal Emulation programs such as the INTEGRATA MEPOSI SW
was installed.
Problem description:

When default parameters were set in VOTS users always experienced delays in the
reaction time when using the 9750 emulation running over VOTS. A typical
work-around was to set the Credit Window in VOTS to 1.
What was actually happening was that Siemens, due to a local flow control
problem, was witholding the next DT-TPDU to be sent till such time as Siemens
received the corresponding AK-TPDU. This was always particularly aparent when
the user started or terminated an application. Setting the credit to 1
always meant that VOTS answered immediately therefore hiding Siemen's problem.
Solution:
Please ask Siemens to install the following REP (Siemens speak for Patch)
