Hello to everybody, my name is Antonella De Mico and I work in Rome (Italy) for the EIS group. I'm actually trying to understand if it's possible to configure, on the same VAX, the FTSIE software and an X.400 private domain. My customer needs to setup a system where a Message Switching application could exchange files with a Siemens host (via Ethernet) and, at the same time, send some of its messages to some X.400 users over a public X.25 network. Does anybody know if both applications have a chance to 'survive' sharing the same CPU? Many thanks in advance. Cheers Antonella

Ciao >My customer needs to setup a system where a Message Switching application could >exchange files with a Siemens host (via Ethernet) and, at the same time, send >some of its messages to some X.400 users over a public X.25 network. as you say in bella Roma 'Niento di Problemo'.... All you have to ensure is that both applications, in this case MRX and FTSIE, have different TSAP's. Hope that helps. John | |||||
