138.1 | Should be no Problem ... | BIKINI::DITE | Phase V makes ~~~ OK! | Thu Jun 04 1992 12:59 | 8 |
I'm not one of the developers but in their absence I would care to claim that there should be no problems. We have FTSIE running (adapted for DNVext) on VMS V5.5 and have exerienced to date no problems. Although it hasn't been tested intensively. Hope that helps. John | |||||
138.2 | VMS V5.5 & VOTS V2.0B - Not O.K. | BIKINI::DITE | Phase V makes ~~~ OK! | Tue Jul 07 1992 11:06 | 10 |
VOTS V2.0B is not officialy supported on VMS V5.5. This has implications as to the support of FTSIE V1.4. It may work but due to the fact that VOTS V2.0B isn't supported anymore one can't claim that FTSIE V1.4 can be supported on VMS V5.5. The only alternative is to upgrade to DNVext, but there is no official version of FTSIE that has been adapted to support DNVext or WAVE-2. regards John |
