122.1 | Exerciser | EICMFG::BURKE | Jim Burke, @UFC | Tue Oct 01 1991 19:04 | 10 |
| An automated Exerciser would be extremely useful.
Ideally, two processes would exchange data over a looped-back line.
One or other of these programs could also talk to the
Utility/Simulator, thus giving a semi-automated Exerciser.
Also note that these programs would make excellent examples for the
documentation.

122.2 | Better quality diagrams in docs | EICMFG::BURKE | Jim Burke, @UFC | Tue Oct 01 1991 19:06 | 4 |
| Some of the line-art diagrams are a bit naff. Nice to have them done in
proper graphics.

| Documentation in BOOKREADER format ?
------------------------------------
This is a definite inclusion for the next release/update.
I've already done this, so if anyone wants advance copies of the docs
in this format, then let me know.

Re: Double-sided printing of documents.
To do this, the VaxDoc switch "/device=blank_page" should be appended.
Next Release will include this.
This also applies to Simatic documents.

122.6 | New Teleperm functions,... | EICMFG::BURKE | Jim Burke, @UFC | Tue Dec 03 1991 18:01 | 14 |
| 1. A more recent specification of the 3964 protocol has two REPLY
messages which are currently not supported. (Vax Teleperm returns
UNSOL_MSG to these). These messages should be supported - They are:-
* REPLY to a "Sign of life" message from the PLC.
* REPLY to a "Determination of the external computer device
code" message from the PLC (ie. a "who are you" message).
2. The Teleperm build command file should de-assign TLP$SYSTEM.
Note: this does not affect the user (internal use only).
[this also applies to Simatic]
