	Good news for all FTSIE fans!

	The FTSIE family is expanding - DEC FTSIE for ULTRIX V1.0
	will soon be ready for field test. FCS will be July 15th!

	We are currently looking for adequate field test sites
	(if possible) in Munich. 

	Please contact Ulrike MUNLEG::GOETZ (786-1312) or
	Andreas MUNLEG::TUSCHEK (786-1309) if you are interested
	in testing our software at your customer's site.

	Here are the prerequisites:

   
  DEC FTSIE for ULTRIX supports the same transport connections as 
  VAX FTSIE (VMS). That means OSI TP4 (inactive subset) over IEEE 802.3
  and OSI TP0,2 over X25 lines.

  DEC FTSIE for ULTRIX support both VAX and RISC architectures.

  The prerequisite SW is 

   o XTI and OSI Transport for ULTRIX +
   o DEC X.25 Access for ULTRIX (X25 Connections only) 

     For DEC X.25 Access for ULTRIX either X.25 router 2000 oder VMS system
     with P.S.I running is required.

     Alternatively  

   o DECnet/OSI V5.0 could be used in the transport layer. In V5.0 DECnet/OSI
     does not support X.25 connections. That means DEC FTSIE can only be 
     run over (extended) LAN when using DECnet/OSI
