   Hi everybody,

  	One of our customers wants to comunicate a VAX/ULTRIX system to a 

   SIMATIC S5 - P.L.C. over an asynchronous comunication line by using the

   3964R protocol.

	I know there's an ASSET (VAX-SIMATIC_S5) that permits to do this

   under VMS . 


	- Do we have a similar tool under ULTRIX ?

	- Is there any third party's solution ?

    Jose Antonio,
    
    unfortuntely there is no such tool from Digital. 
    
    We do have two solutions running under VMS (VAX-SIMATIC_S5 and 
    DECsicon) and I know about a Third Party Software running under RSX.
    
    But currently there is no known solution under ULTRIX.
