Hello, while reading Ftsie traces with the aid of FTSIE$TRACE.EXE, I frequently come across a line saying TDISIN CID= xxx REASON=19482. In a few traces one can find a reason code of 57844. My question is now: Are these reason codes somewhere documented? Best regards, Goran Astrom

The REASON code has NO meaning in FTSIE, it can only be evaluated for FTSINIX systems PC-MX4 ans PC-X - its shown in the FTSIE trace for historical reasons. The TDISIN protocol element indicates, that the remote system has closed down the transport connection (or was not able to establish it). Helmut | |||||

Hello Helmut, thanks for the info. In this case is the remote system not able to establish the connection I think. Best regards, Goran |
