98.0. "JABBERWOCKY & ZAP" by ARRODS::SYSTEM () Fri Aug 30 1991 08:03
HI,
JABBERWOCKY runs along side ALL-IN-1, it was written internally by DIGITAL (its not
an asset) and basically allows the ALL-IN-1 user to switch between applications.
When the user logs on, 8 additonal sub-processes are created, the problem we are getting
is that processes obviously aren't always active, therefore ZAP kills them off.
Is there anyway we can isolate these sub-processes from ZAP???
Thanks in advance,
Stewart Piesley (System Manager @HHL)

98.1 | Try using TRACEBACK | ZAPDEV::MACONI | The Doctor is In | Tue Sep 03 1991 11:17 | 8 |
| Hi,
Enable TRACEBACK which will group ALL of the subprocesses together
under the root (main) process. If the combined utilization of ALL processes
is considered idle, then the root (main) process (and all of its sub-processes)
will be killed.
