The 1996 Bristol HiFi Show was used by Linn to launch their new range
of A/V products. This is a complete A/V solution and is not designed to
be (although it can be) part of the audio only products. Currently
the control amp and power amps are the only system boxes, with speaker
support in the form of the main channel 5140's, a centre speaker, new
surround speakers and the active isobarik subwoofer.
One thing that was said; the new AC-3 control amp is "not a patch" on
the Kairn.
The demo will not have impressed many of the audience. The system gave
the impression of being poorly tuned and positioned badly.

| Linn should have stuck to making turntables instead of trying to branch
