    Hi,
    
    I'm looking to build/buy an AM aerial for my tuner, but have come to an
    impasse. I have talked to a couple of people about aerial design, but am 
    still unclear.
    
    What do you need to consider when building an AM aerial? I've heard
    that ideally it should be a round fraction of the frequency being
    received (i.e., 0.5, 0.25, 0.125 etc.) ans it should be horizontal (as
    AM is transmitted horizintally). What else should I be looking at doing
    to maximise my AM reception?
