    I have a Marantz CD94 which is about 6 years old now. In the time I,ve
    had it I have upgraded the output opamps and tweeked the powersupply.
    
    What I would like advice on is adding an external DAC 
    
    Has anyone used the CD94 as a transport?  and if so with what DAC.
    
    also has anyone any thoughts on how the 94 stacks up against modern CD
    players, .

	I've got a similar question. Has anybody upgraded from a Rotel 965bx. Either had it upgraded to LED specification (�125) or added an external DAC ? ( eg. DAC-IN-A-BOX ) I have considered buying a Micromega Stage or CD63 + DIAB. Anyone already upgraded from here an have some recommendations they may whish to share? What is the quality of the Rotel transport mechanism ? Regards, Jonathan

	The Rotel mech is meant to be pretty good, I've not much experiance with outboard DAC's apart from the Linn Numerik which was pretty much built to go with the Karik. Rik
