In an effort to accurately set up my now complete surround system, I would like to find a centre speaker to match my main speakers; unfortunatley they are LINN Keilidhs! Does anyone know if these speakers can be bought separately, or if one can be cusotem made? Thanks, D.

Linn are pretty good at this sort of thing - I would have thought a Keltik would make a better speaker though. If you have any problems from you dealer then phone Linn direct and speak to the service dept. 0500 888 909 - a Trevor Liddle has helped me out with various odd requests over the past few years...

Well, just phoned Linn today on another matter and whilst on the line to them I asked about the new Toukan (sp?) speaker. I was told that this is "to be released shortly" with a price of "less than the Kans" - approx 100 squid under. That would place them in the 450 pound market. These speakers would make ideal surround channel speakers or a good choice for a centre speaker if using Keilidhs or Kabers as main channel speakers. Dave.

It's ``Tukan'' and the price I heard was 300'ish. Rik |
