Hello,
Is there somebody out there would could give some information about the
Irish firm Transcriptors from Carlow? I know the firm was founded by 2
brothers, that Transcriptors doesn't exist anymore and one of the founders
moved to the U.S., where he continued making recordplayers.
I'm interested in the history of this firm, because I like the originality of
their players very much. E.g. The Transcriber, which has no arm, but which
uses a moving platter. Very unconventional, and a very nice design.
