Dave, Pop upstairs and not only will I tell you about ALPS ( 16 and 28mm dia ) but I'll also introduce you to motorized ALPS, Penny and Giles and if you make the tea, 135 step solid silver contact, HOLCO based switched attenuators. Stuff that dreams are made of. Clive.

What are the dimensions of the fully assembled switched attenuators and how much space is recommended for installation of same? Are they made in Switzerland sans Holcos? Bill

no. I doubt you'll find anyone around Basingstoke. You're best bet is through one of the mailorder outlets. Russ Andrews is fairly disparaging about Bourne/Alps pots. You could try audiokits which if I remember are at Burwash in Surrey. Also try Electromail. What value do you need, I may have some old ones in my garage , likely to be 100KOhm stereo dual gang. |
