I think this is the best DAC I've heard so far. It is Deltec's newest DAC using Philips' newest chip DAC-7. However, the price is also beautiful -- STD1995 or HKD 20000+. The question is they just introduced PDM I 7350 about 6 months ago. How long will this PDM II be last? Another 6 months? Any comment, folks? About the quality of PDM II. Any comment about the fast going technology?

There is nothing wrong with technology moving fast. The problem comes
when manufacturers jump on the latest bandwagon, then promote the new
product by implying what they sold last week is old. I'm not sure
Deltec are specifically guilty of this, though.
The new digital audio technology must be a marketing man's dream.
Whoever said that CD players meant the end of perpetual front-end
upgrading were obviously kidding themselves.
