285.0. "Albarry Music Power Amps....help needed" by TENERE::DEIGHTON () Mon Jul 01 1991 22:26
I have a pair on Alberry (Albarry?) Music power amplifiers which are
now about 8 or 9 years old.......so I reckon that a change of PSU
capacitors might be due.
The problem is that I got amongst the very first pair of amps made by
Alberry Music when they were working out of a Manchester Hi-Fi shop
(NuSound???).....now as a feature the capacitors for the PSU have their
labels removed and are lit by a neon the front of the case being red
perspex,.....thus I have NO IDEA what values replacement caps should be
rated at!. I got these amps before instruction books had been printed and
a name chosen for the company.
If anyone has a schematic, knows the values or better still knows whether
the manufacturer is still in business (and their phone number) I would be
grateful if you'd let me know!
