226.0. "Best/Worst sounding records?" by SED750::SADAT (Tarik Sadat: STG Leatherhead UK) Mon Nov 12 1990 17:54

Somebody said somat about the worst & best hi-fi records around; so (at the
risk of repeating myself - I may have said this elsewhere in here) here we are:

worst: anything by Steve Winwood (particularly "Back In The High Life")
               - although I do like his music...
best: "Set Me Free" by Carmel (oh! her voice!) or possibly "Hats" by
The Blue Nile (and his voice)

live album: "8:30" by Weather Report; this is like actually _being_ at
a WR concert, complete with comments from the audience in the
	      quiet bits.

Any other takers???
