A friend of mine dropped a slick pamphlet on my desk advertising "JAMO" loudspeakers made in Denmark. Anybody heard about them? Thanks, Gatan.

They're imported into this country by Goodmans.
The JAMO range mainly consists of 3 (or more) way paper pulp drivers
in a large box. The specs are impressive as they handle 100's of
watts power and have sensitivities of ~96 db/m. The problem is that
the cabinets are unbraced and the drivers are of old technology.
...but if you want your own disco in your living room they are ideal!
Stephen.

I live in Holland and here JAMO speakers are well known. I agree that
the drivers have paper cone's, but that will not say that they sound
bad. JAMO has also smaller very good sounding systems, which can be
bi-wired (for me it makes no difference). They offer reasonable quality
for little money. I know there is much better available (for more
money).
