207.3 | not really that helpful! | TASTY::JEFFERY | Tears of disbelief spilling out of my eyes | Thu Sep 20 1990 13:42 | 7 |
| I'm not 100% sure, but I think The Cornflake Shop (just off Tottenham
Court Road) may do Linn.
If not, their sister shop, The Sound Organisation do. Don't know the address
though!

| The Sound Organisation are in Cathedral Street, Southwark. They aren't
related to the Cornflake Shop, though; the SO definitely stock the amps
listed in .0, but I doubt they'll have a Linngo available for dem for a
few weeks (mine's booked at the York SO for "late October" ;-)),
although it's been circulated through the trade.
The Spark is #495 if you trade back the original LK280 transformer.
Otherwise it costs #595.

207.5 | LinnGo (Price ?) | CHEST::WATSON | Rik Watson | Thu Sep 20 1990 15:10 | 7 |
| Is there a price for the Linngo yet ?
Chris Brooks Audio (Warrington) had a sample in a few weeks ago but no
firm price.
PS They also stock all the stuff your looking for but Warrington IS 200
miles from Central London ...

207.6 | A lot.... | BAHTAT::SALLITT | Dave @RKG, 831-3117 | Thu Sep 20 1990 17:54 | 8 |
| According to the Sound Org in York, the Linngo will be around 500.
Hamish reckons it's worth it and I'm interested to hear one, but if I
had 500 burning a hole in my pocket for hifi (which I haven't) I'd be
inclined to spend it on something other than a power supply for my Linn.
150-200 would be a different proposition.
