Are there any Hi-Fi dealers in the Basingstoke area that sell the
Musical Fidelity B1 amp and do part exchange?

The above named Hi-Fi dealer is about the only decent Hi-Fi shop in Basingstoke. They have a listening room and will sell you a Linn Turntable (just to give you an idea of the type of Hi-Fi shop) As for whether they sell MF B1 or accept part exchanges I can't tell you. Give them a ring. (0256) 24311 (closed Wednesdays). According to their ad they offer 5% discount for students and nurses (but unfortunately not DECCIES) Alex. | |||||

Ok, New to Basingstoke eh? Right, get you and your car lost in the central NCP car park. Ideally aim for the southern side (not the IBM side). Walk down to the shopping level, probably somewhere near lloyds or Queensway. Walk south out of the shopping centre and up to the market square, you should pass Fads, Prudential Estate Agents, Mann & Co, SuperDrug etc. Along the road on your left is the Feathers Pub. Just before it is Feathers Lane. (not much bigger than an alleyway). Follow Feathers lane for about 5 shops and Absolute Sounds is on your left. Have fun Alex. | |||||

I found it (eventually) and they do part exchange equipment but
they only take stuff from the manufacturers they already sell.
My amp is an Acoustic Research A-04 so they won't take it. I'll
put it in the for sale section when I get my kit moved to Basingstoke
(in about two weeks). If anyone is interested in it in the meantime
then just mail me.
