| I've had an AIWA HS-PX101 "Walkperson" for some time now. It comes with
a rechargeable battery, plus an adapter to allow the use of ordinary
batteries and a mains adapter.
It has Dolby B and C, takes Metal and ordinary tapes and provides
the auto reverse and search-for-next-track facilities. It has a
remote control for volume, on/off and direction control attached
to the cord.
My main use for it is listening to tapes of CD's in the office.
Cost: about 140. Recommended.

I'd be very interested to hear what people think of Fisher equipment.
I have a Fisher portable stereo cassette recorder, with the usual
facility for connecting a turntable (if desired), SW/LW/MW/FM raadio,
Dolby, headphone socket, Automatic Search Control, etc. etc.
It's served me extremely well for 4 years, but I'd like to know
others' opinions.
Incidentally, are Fisher still in business? I rarely hear anything
about them.

Dom

| Hi,
I am looking to buy a sony WM-DC3 but am unsure of the quality. I have
yet to see and play with one and was interested in other peoples experiences.
How does it compair with the DC6? how good are the bits and pieces you get with
it? What sort of inputs / outputs and controls does it have ?
I require a fairly good recording walkman but under the price of a DC6.
Any advice welcome,
Thanks Graeme
