Education/Qualifications:
Relevant experience is more important than academic qualifications, although
excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Experience: (Limited Space = 8-10 typed lines only)
Extensive internal functional experience/knowledge (particularly Sales &
Services), plus a clear understanding of the MCS services portfolio.
Understanding of Digital policies, procedures and practices affecting
international business.
Understanding of external legal and commercial issues impacting international
business.
Demonstrable project/programme management experience.
Job Description: (Limited Space = 6-8 typed lines only)
Will work as part of a small team in the MCS European Global Bid Office,
assisting Sales & Bid/Win teams to qualify and progress `outbound'
international bids using a defined Global Bid Process.
Will also co-ordinate and direct Bid/Win resources within the European Zone,
to form virtual bid teams capable of responding to `inbound' bid requests from
other worldwide Global Bid Offices.
NOTE: A more detailed Job Description is available upon request.

An extensive, cross-functional internal contacts network would be a distinct
advantage.
Tenacity and determination to get things done when working to aggressive
timescales is essential.
An ability to evaluate changing circumstances and take appropriate independent
action is also required.

| Owing to unforseen circumstances, the position detailed in the
previous entry has now become open again. It has also been re-
posted in the JOBS section on VTX.
One change from the original posting is that the job could now
potentially be graded anywhere from level 8 to 11, depending
upon relevant experience.
