| Give me some money and you can borrow my car!
But seriously...how much is a "relatively small amount of dosh"?
What sort of prices have you been asked for to fly there?

| If you're a student - I'm guessing the seriously cheap bit might mean
that - there's an ticket agency in London that can apparently do silly
prices. I no longer have their details but the euro-contractor conference
does I think.

| The travel agent my son uses in London is TRAVEL BUG. Most of his
friends, who are students, appear to find it a very good one to use;
good prices and prepared to research alternative routes and times
for best buy.

The Sunday Times does a good travel supplement as do other Sunday
papers. Travel Bug, Travel Bag and Trailfinders usually advertise
there. These companies specialise in finding cheap flights around the
world. Usually, the best way to get the cheapest flights is to book
well in advance. As they fill the flight up, the seats get more
expensive.
If you need to go at short notice, you'll have to be flexible; you
might be lucky, but alot of the seats that aren't sold go to airline
staff first.
