791.0. "Good home for Bat Catcher Wanted" by KERNEL::MCGAUGHRIN (What a Marvelous Delivery) Mon Aug 15 1994 11:54

I am looking for a good home for our pet Cat, Bruno. He is black and
used to beat up our Labrador, until he died. Very freindly though, no
problems and even caught a mouse once! Very good at catching Bats (3).

We are moving house next week, but we are going into temporary
accomodation so we cannot take the cat.

We can take the cat back once we have bought a new house. or you can
keep him, especially if you have a bat problem.

    Thanks

Flipping eck, you're not going to get many Lab owners offering to
take on your killer moggy are you!!! ;^>

I'd love to help but until I complete on buying my house (which
seems to be drifting towards being next year at this rate) I'm
limited to just one Lucie-Pie in our rented house.

I think you need a license for a killer moggy.

What, you mean you want someone to look after a dead cat?
Maybe I could help you out. I think I'm only allergic to live
ones.

That one was so predictable I didn't even bother. I did wonder however
how a dead cat can catch bats ? Does it lie out in the garden at night
covered in flesh eating moths, wait for a bat to fly down for a moth,
then infect it with a bat-killing parasite !

I thought you'd hold the cat's mouth open with a stick. When the bat flies in,
it knocks the stick out of the way, the cat's mouth closes, and the bat is
trapped.

I'm not sure if a cat would get on with my pet brick. He's
a quiet little thing (sleeps most of the time).
