752.0. "Billy Bargain alert!!" by KERNEL::BINGHAMK (I didn't do it.......Honest!!) Mon Apr 25 1994 13:19

                      Hello Fellow Basingstokians

While out shopping in our fabulous "Basingstoke the whole new shopping
experience" I stumbled upon Miss Selfridge, and promptly bought
several items, ammounting to around 25 quid. I then was eligible
to enter a free draw to get some goodies and received 20 pounds
                worth of BSM driving vouchers.

At first sight I though, WOW what a Billy Bargain, but then realised that
I did not have need of these vouchers since I had indeed passed my
driving test some 8 months back.

So, I am wondering who would like these marvellous vouchers for their
child, niece, cousin, nephew, mother, father, brother, sister
uncle, aunt, granda, grandma, wife, husband, and all the other
wonderful relatives that you just cannot choose!!

Please mail me on the above left handed sort of mail address or call me
as Blondie once said on "7833 3817" ASAP to get this wonderful
      bargain.

                  Yours bargainly

                    Kendra Bingham

Oliver! Have you thought of buying anything from Miss Selfridge
lately? (smiley face thingy)

Kendra, I'd like them for my daughter - will they still be valid
in 15 years time?

Ian! They only last till the end of the year I'm afraid!

Anyway Oli has driving lessons with another firm. These are for the
    first load of lessons only.

Oliver,

Are you going to finish that last sentence off then?
752.17V3.0KERNEL::BOWEOTelepathy means never having to say...Thu Apr 28 1994 11:368
I might, oh ok them here goes:

I suspect there would be a catch with these vouchers.
The common catch is when booking a block of ten lessons and seeing as BSM
lessons run to about 15-16 each, I would be reluctant to take them up on the
offer as I am already taking lessons with a reputable Instructor.

So what's the catch? I still don't understand.

and as for driving continuously for 10 years.... I have
developed this ingeneous technique for refuelling without
stopping - I based it on the technique used by fighter
planes.

I'm hoping to get some exposure on Tomorrow's World.

It's on too early in the evening for that, try Eurotrash, there's
plenty of exposure there. However, some cool dude did manage to say
"hot-s**t Mac" on "The Net" last night and that was on before the 9
    o'clock watershed.
