With Wimbledon appraoching a climax, I'm in the mood for a game of tennis. I've found my rackets under the dust in the loft, I've got a white T shirt and I've even found an opponent. All I need now is a court. Does anyone know where public courts are in Basingstoke and how much they cost? Alternatively if anyone has a court in their back garden I can borrow... thanks Ian

There's loads of courts around Basingstoke. The memorial park is probably the budget end of the scale, so no doubt you'll go for that Ian. Alternatively, there's Centrecourt, just behind Tescos, they have 6 indoor courts and 5 outdooor ones, but it's quite pricey I think. Even Beechdown now has a tennis court. So you reckon you can play abit eh ? I'll give you a lesson sometime if you like. Rich

Can one play at Beechdown without being a member? Likewise at Centrecourt? I've heard the memorial park is a bit dodgy. All I want are some public courts taht are in decent nick, cost a couple of quid and you don't have to book. Ian
