Can anyone point me in the direction of a Chinese supermarket not too far away. We went to one in Mytchett (near Aldershot) last weekend but because it was fairly small, the prices were quite expensive. We usually go to one's near Covent Garden but its getting a bit much trotting up to London each time we want some plum sauce or whatever. Can anyone recommend any? Thanks julia

If you fancy a trip down to the seaside, I know that there used to be a fairly good one in Brighton - in the North Laines area. It's been three years or so since I went there last, so don't ask if it's still there. I think there might be a smallish one in Gloucester Green, Oxford. I usually go to Soho for my stuff though! Don't know how helpful that was. Not at all probably, but I felt like putting a note in! Ian | |||||

Depending on what particular things you require, you will sometimes find that Indian/Pakistani grocers have a good selection of Chinese stuff. There is one place down the Oxford Road in Reading that has a good selection. p1 |
